RESERVE RESULT

Shane Sutherland heads in his 2nd goal of the afternoon
Youngster Shane Sutherland netted a quick fire double at the start of the second half to secure a 3-0 win over Hibernian in a reserve league fixture at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Captain Grant Munro continued his comeback from injury and there were also places for Russell Duncan and David Proctor, who have both made significant progress over the past week.
The first half yielded very few chances but just before the break we went one nil up when a superb cross from the left by Zander Sutherland gave defender Darren McCormack no option but put the ball into his own net under pressure from Daniel Park.
Ten minutes into the second half Ryan Esson produced a great stop to stop Hibs from scoring an equaliser when he got down to block an effort Jack Wilson who had sneaked in at the back post.
Three minutes later Shane Sutherland doubled our advantage after only being on the park for a few minutes, Zander Sutherland again did well on the left flank and whipped a good ball in with his right foot which allowed Shane to sneak ahead of his marker and prod home from close range.
On the hour mark we made it three, Barry Wilson delivered a dangerous cross in from the right flank to the back post where Rory McAllister had peeled off and he headed the ball back across goal for Shane Sutherland to head home his second of the afternoon.
