This evening we defeated Stockport County 1-0 thanks to a goal from young striker Shane Sutherland.  In a team that showed 5 changes to the side defeated 2-1 by Fleetwood Town on Saturday there were places for new signings Chris Innes and Gil Blumanshtein.

Caley Thistle started brightly and pushed the ball about the park playing nice football without threatening the Stockport goal. Although they dominated the first half, they failed to get a shot on target.

At the start of the second half Stuart Golabek replaced McCann, Morrison replaced Cox and Shinnie replaced Sanchez.

ICT upped the pace in the second half, playing some nice football, but again without any sucess in front of goal. The nearest chance came from an off-target Ross Tokely header from a corner kick. From another corner kick in the 78th minute, Shane Sutherland headed home the ball at the back post to give Caley Thistle a well deserved win.
