Manager Terry Butcher made two changes to the team for the visit to Dens Park to face league leaders Dundee from the side that drew 3-3 with Ayr United last Saturday.  Midfielder Lee Cox and striker Eric Odhiambo came in for David Proctor and Dani Sanchez, who both took places on the bench.

The opening period of the game saw the play swing from end to end and Ryan Esson had to look lively on the 5th minute.  Dundee striker Ben Hutchison got the better of Ross Tokely down the left, cut inside and played the ball into fellow striker Leigh Griffiths.  He turned Grant Munro and let fly from 12 yards but Ryan was equal to it, tipping the ball over the bar for a corner.

With 26 minutes played Adam Rooney got a sight of goal after a headed knock down by Richie Foran but the striker fired wide of Rab Douglas's goal.  Shortly afterwards Rooney was presented with a glorious chance to open the scoring when Eric Odhiambo chipped the ball to the back post for Rooney but from four yards he managed to hit his shot back across the face of the open goal.

One minute into the second half saw us take the lead with a fine goal.  A pass from midfield sent Adam Rooney free on the right hand side and his chipped cross into the Dundee box was perfect for the head of Richie Foran at the back post.

With the home fans getting on the Dundee players backs we looked to secure goal number two and it came on the hour mark.  Once again Adam Rooney came up with the assist when he latched onto a ball on the left hand side of the box and his low cut back was tucked under Rab Douglas by Eric Odhiambo from 12 yards.

Seventeen minutes later and Dundee pulled a goal back, a Gary Harkins free kick came back off the wall and fell kindly to ex-ICT midfielder Brian Kerr and his 25 yard shot beat Ryan Esson into the back of the net.

With six minutes to play Dundee equalised, a Gary Harkins effort from long range took a wicked deflection off Nauris Bulvitis which saw Ryan Esson wrong footed and the ball ends up in the back off the net.
