He said "Today was very pleasing - three points, a clean sheet, a couple of good goals particularly one from Eric Odhiambo and Dani Sanchez scored again.  Despite the good bits I was disappointed as we had some great positions and didn't score more goals but for certain little parts of the game I thought we dominated the match.  It was good to see the shot from Eric Odhiambo in particular and it was lovely to see him back on the pitch as well, you could see all the lads went over to mob him which shows how much he's liked at the Club.

We were a bit sloppy with the final ball and could have had more goals, but if you told me before the game 2-0 I would have been happy with that.  We could have scored more chances if it wasn't for their keeper.

I was thinking about changes all week, but the more you think about changes the more you think you'll keep it the same and give the boys who've played recently, particularly last week, a chance to redeem themselves today and say we'll go out there and get the three points and bounce back in style.  We've been doing that all season, bouncing back and losing and winning… we've been on a rollercoaster ride.

It's nice to look forward to a final next week as well.  Now we can start to enjoy the week and the build up, but it was important to do that on the back of three points.  A good performance, I wouldn't say it was scintillating, but a good, solid performance.

It's a big game in terms of the silverware, it's live on TV, good pitch, good ground, big crowd, fantastic. It's to be looked forward to and relished. We'll work hard this week and focus on what we have to do.

I think I raised a few eyebrows when I announced the team today.  I was going to make six changes yesterday and then I slept on it and didn't make any.  Everyone deserves a second chance and I told them if anyone doesn't do that after 5 minutes they'd be off!"
