He said "It's the first time we've won successive league matches and the first time obviously at home. The way the boys are playing, they're looking confident, they're looking a lot better. We are making progress. We said this at the start, I think we'll get better and better.  I couldn't change it from last week because of that performance, couldn't change the subs either.  Richie Foran was the only doubt because he had a hamstring niggle so we took him off as quickly as we could but he's experienced enough to know what to do.

They're making it work by the way that they're playing, the boys showed good spirit and a good team effort and ethic as well.  Everybody worked very hard today.  It's a nice feeling and one of relief.  If you're going to win at home, then win like that.

We could have scored a few more, but Morton aren't a bad team.  You could see that they could pass it quite well but we always thought we could get through them and see it through.  We got a wake-up call when it was 2-0 and then they scored a goal. It's very pleasing, it's nice to get some goals in front of the fans; the goal difference is a lot better now.  We're still in sixth place but we've made up a lot of ground on the others ahead of us.

Adam Rooney is like Andy Barrowman, they never let their confidence drop, they have great belief in themselves, it's really great to see.  It's not just the goals but the way he plays as well, he's committed and works very hard in the team.

We know they can get better and there's more to come from the team, it's really, really pleasing today."
