He said "I am disappointed that we've dropped the two points because it's the first time this season we have went ahead at home and we wanted to keep that lead but it wasn't to be and we've thrown two points away today.  We didn't do enough in the game to win it in terms of possession and keeping the ball that's for sure; a draw was a fair result.  Dunfermline made it difficult for us and we had to change our system to try and stop them from dominating the game which we felt they were doing in the first half.  We changed it round a little bit, it obviously worked and stopped them from getting as much possession as they were having before we changed it and then we got the goal before half-time.  At half time we were buoyant and jubilant because we'd scored first and we thought "right, let's go get that second goal".

So it's bitterly disappointing to lose a goal from a set piece, just to switch off at the edge of the box.  It was a good delivery and a good header, it was then a case of people thinking oh my goodness we're going to lose this game now, rather than actually think we're going to win it.  But in the end, we still had the chances.

We're away next week, which to many people is a blessing, as our away form has been much better than our home form but I thought today was our day and we were going to win it. Some of the performances at home have been far better than today. We've won Cup games at home, so we can win at home but we haven't won at home in the league yet.

In the end we've gained a point from today but I feel we've lost two. I felt there were three points there that we could have secured, particularly being 1-0 up at half time.  Very disappointed again but we have options. We've got to start putting together stronger performances particularly at home to make sure that we stand a chance of pushing for the top."
