He said "I thought we did well early on but Partick Thistle were certainly the better side in the second half and we were lucky to still be at 1-1 at the end of the 90 minutes.  It was certainly more even in the extra-time period and then penalties are as we all know a bit of a lottery.

Ryan Esson made three great penalty stops and we scrap through on penalties but obviously we are delighted to be in the semi-final.

We can play a lot better than this, there is still some hard work to be done but I am sure there is a lot more to come from this team."
