Albion Rovers were the visitors to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium this evening for the second round of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup.  Manager Terry Butcher made two changes from the side that drew 2-2 with Dundee on Saturday.  Ross Tokely came in at right back for David Proctor and Adam Rooney replaced Danni Sanchez in attack.

Albion Rovers came closest to opening the scoring in the 6th minute when captain Paul Tyrell picked up a pass at the edge of the box but his lobbed effort came back off the top of the bar.  Two minutes later we took the lead when Jonny Hayes drifted across the park and released Robert Eagle on the left of the box and he drilled the ball low into the bottom corner.

We doubled our lead on the 16th minute when Richie Foran drove down the right flank and his cross was volleyed home by Adam Rooney despite goalkeeper Derek Gaston getting a hand to it.

Seven minutes before the break Ross Tokely picked up a yellow card for persistent fouling.  We made it three on the 41st minute with a well worked goal, midfielder Lee Cox chipped a net pass over the Rovers defence to Grant Munro and eventually the ball was hit across goal to Nauris Bulvitis with the easiest of tasks to net his first ICT goal.

We hit number four on the 57th minute, a Daniel Stratford corner came back to him and his second attempt was turned home by captain Grant Munro past the man on the line.  Youngster Shane Sutherland replaced Richie Foran four minutes later.

Another youngster entered the fray with 74 minutes played with Nick Ross coming on for Robert Eagle on the right side.  Five minutes later we made our third and final substitute with David Proctor taking Lionel Djebi-Zadi's place at left back.
