Inverness Caledonian Thistle fans have rallied behind the club impressively with a major season ticket boost for their SFL First Division campaign.

Chief Executive Mike Smith revealed: "In the first eight days of season ticket sales, we have sold more than we did in the first three weeks of sale last year for the SPL campaign. It's a phenomenal response and particularly encouraging is the fact that 15 per cent of season tickets have been sold to new holders."

Club chairman George Fraser said: "We knew there was great empathy in the city and surrounding communities for the club after we became the team with the highest points total ever to be relegated from the SPL. It's a real vote of confidence in the club."
"The fans have committed cash in a way that is of practical help and morale boosting to the club as we endeavour to retain players and strengthen the squad. I sincerely thank them and hope more will follow their example.

"That one in seven is an entirely new season ticket holder is an extremely heartening trend. It pays tribute to the innovative new season ticket package we unveiled -- and to people who were 'pay as you go' customers last season deciding to make a real commitment to benefit their team."

With the Club keen to encourage more youngsters along to games Under 8's will again be admitted free of charge but this season two Under 8's can attend with every adult. Furthermore a new category has been created for fans aged 8 - 12 years in the Family Section where they can have a season ticket for as little as only £25.

To give fans every opportunity to purchase their Season Tickets the opening hours of the Ticket Office have been extended and it will now be open each Saturday from 10am - 2pm.

Fans have also responded to the new opportunity to be able to book season tickets online rather than requiring to go to the stadium and this can be done at www.eticketing.co.uk/ictfc

The extended payment arrangements have also proved attractive. Existing Season Ticket holders have until 5pm Friday 3rd July to renew their seat. Released seats will be on general sale from 9am Tuesday 7th July.
