The Under 19's faced Falkirk this afternoon at Stirling University and were looking for revenge following last Friday's 2-1 defeat by the Bairns at home.  Experienced players Shane Sutherland, Kyle Allison and Michael Finnis were ruled out through a combination of illness and injury.  Midfielder Gavin Morrison was also left behind due to his inclusion in the first team squad for tomorrow's game against Hamilton so it was a young side that took to the field with nine of the starting side still eligible for next season's Under 19's.  However despite a good performance the boys could only take a point back up the A9.

Midfielder Connor Rennie opened the scoring on the 46th minute with a penalty strike after a handball on the goal line by a Falkirk defender.  The boys failed to hold their lead and three minutes later Falkirk equalised after the award of a dubious penalty when the referee adjudged that Struan Scott-Woodhouse had fouled a Falkirk attacker.
