Kyle Allison

Goalkeeper Kyle Allison today suffered a double jaw fracture in the 6-2 semi-final defeat to Rangers at Ibrox Stadium.

Kyle was stretchered off the park and transferred by ambulance to Glasgow Southern General hospital following a collision with Rangers striker Kane Hemmings on the half hour mark.  Following x-rays it was confirmed that he had suffered two breaks to his jaw.

He was kept in hospital overnight on Saturday and released Sunday lunchtime.  He underwent surgery on Wednesday to fit a plate to the upper jaw fracture and a temporary brace to the lower jaw fracture.

Everyone at the Club's thoughts are with him and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
